Our Commitment
It is our desire to display the light of Jesus’ Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control. Therefore, as a partner we will not only engage in business, but we also ask our partners to hold us accountable to the standards of the gospel and we commit to do the same with you. These standards include:
1) Walking in a manner worthy of the Lord:
We will not participate in the deeds of darkness; both our business practices and personal lives will exhibit a life surrendered to Christ.
2) Keeping short accounts:
We will be slow to speak and quick to listen. Addressing disputes and contention as it comes up with mercy and grace. Confessing our faults and aiming to work towards unity and peace with one another.
3) Speaking the truth in love:
We will put off falsehood, lies and deceit. We will not promote false doctrines or beliefs but will instead trust the power of the gospel and not move away from it.
4) Loving our neighbor:
We will work to share the light of Christ within our community and to love our Neighbor as ourselves.
5) Praying together:
We commit to being a fellow prayer warrior for our partners!
The scripture criteria used to measure if we are meeting the above commitments are: 1 John 1, Ephesians 4-5, Romans 13, 2 Corinthians 6 and Colossians 3.
